Johanna's Spring Break in Mongolia

We went spring skiing her first weekend back in Mongolia from Germany.

Spring Scenes

Our friend from Darhan found our number and blew into town last week.  Nergui is a window installer, and his wife helps with the business.  It was nice to see them again after about 5 years. 

Jeremy and Josiah were found wearing the same shirt and marked the moment while Mom was away.

Renee went to Germany to visit Johanna and travel back with BFA kids to Mongolia.

We got a couple news guys interested in coaching at the Academy this week.

The kids are enjoying "March Madness" getting to play 3 on 3 at the end of training all this month.  

Circumspect Geopolitical Mongolian View

Mongolia is one of 14 neighbors to massive mother-Russia whose world's largest land-area nation stretches across 11 times zones of earth. Since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Mongolia seems strangely silent on Russia's recent aggressive violent attack toward its fellow neighbor.

International Woman's Day Hike Outside City

Renee liked how the trees were planted in rows.

The wind was strong on top, but mercifully not too cold.  Above freezing for one of the first times all day, it was a great day for a hike.  Renee's idea, Happy Woman's Day!

"New Beginnings" Church Beginning Again

This is the first time we gathered with them since before COVID.

Always nice to have a little meal and talk after church.

Seed of Faith Church Meeting in Person Again

After the service we all had a Mongolia huushur lunch together.

That's a fried meat pancake, kind of like the hamburger for Americans, a national hand-meal. 

But first there was worship....

and prayers for the kids...

It's nice to be together again after a couple years separated by COVID.

It was a memorable time of fellowship and fun for both families.
