Our vacation in Ohio enabled us to be back together as a family for about a month. When we returned to Mongolia July 19th, Maggie and Lydia remained to work their summer jobs before they return to college in Indiana and Illinois.
Here they are enjoying one fun day at Cedar Point Amusement Park on Lake Erie. They celebrated Lydia's birthday with her roommate and friends,
who drove 5 hours to Akron from Michigan!
Maggie and Lydia both worked with kids this summer with the YMCA, and their internship at Riverside Alliance Church.
Today Maggie returns to Wheaton College for her 3rd year. She is majoring in Elementary Education and will be doing practical classroom time again this year. She needs to get back early as a resident advisor RA in her dorm, to prepare for the 16 girls she will supervise on her floor. It's a little hard not to be there as she pulls out to drive herself across a state or two to college. But we're very pleased that the One who guides her in His paths, goes with her, just like He does with us.
Lydia will work a few more weeks before returning to Indiana for her 2nd year at Taylor University.
