Lunar New Year 2023

We arrive at Pastor Lxavga’s mother-in-law apartment to celebrate the new year.

This year they steamed beef instead of sheep.

Spring Break Plans

Our college girls in Indiana and Illinois will be visiting grandparents in Ohio again soon. 

Of course they might try to tack on a trip to Florida as well. But road trips take cars and lots of gas money. 

We are grateful that God provides where He guides, especially as he has for Maggie and Lydia’s college costs. Praise the Lord for faith, grace, and family. 

Birthday, Anniversary, Conference, and Professional Basketball Player!

Pastor Rich's Birthday was February 4th!  We sang happy birthday to him and someone got him cake.

He and Melody celebrated 31 years of marriage on the same day!  

Soul Care is a great book on spiritual freedom and formation. 

The author Rob Reimer came to Ulaanbaatar to speak and train on its principals Feb 8-10. 

 It made quite an impact!

Before returning to Indonesia with his family after coming to play professional basketball in the league,

Jarron Crump visited our basketball academy! 

The kids were pretty shocked and thrilled.  He ran through some drills for us with them.  He was saving his legs for the All Star dunk context a few days later, which we watched on National TV!

One of our coaches in the IMBA plays for Mongolian National University.

Josiah and I stopped in to see the first half of MJ's game this week.  We later found out they won by 70.

Josiah and I got stuck in traffic for about an hour and 1/2 on the way home.  

(Notice the smokestack of pollution? The flatbed truck the front of us is loaded with crates of vodka)

We came to support number 12, who we met at Cornerstone Church of All Nations with his family.

Number 18 attended our Coaches Clinic in October.

American Jarron Crump signed autographs for IMBAcademy kids.

There are usually at least two foreign players on each team, one allowed on the floor this year.

They also got autographs from this American from Detroit.
