Renee's Broken Arm

Happened during a roller skating outing with the kids.  After an afternoon at the private hospital, we were back home with her cast and sling.  And she was back in the kitchen:

Later in the week, Josiah helps roll out the pie dough for a pumpkin pie!

I didn't hear much how the crafting day worked with one hand.

Friends who served in Russia, Ukraine Visit Mongolia from Germany

Volstads served for 20 years in Russia, then Ukraine, now Germany.

Steve's first morning here, we joined a Mongolian pastor's prayer group at the monument.

Here we are in front of a Russian tank monument, which also commemorates Mongolia and Russia's longtime friendship through World War 2 and the Cold War. 

Steve prays in Russian for the Mongolian Alliance Church leaders and election of a new leader.

And here with the newly elected Pastor Bat, and Dawaa from Darhan.

We stopped with Crick and Renee in front of our American coffee shop for a photo during this snow the next day.

It was so great to have them here finally.  Hope to see them again soon!
