It's pretty unique to be born on the 4th of July. Johanna's special birthdate has some consequences.
Here we are gathered with extended family at Grandpa and Grandma's 4th of July celebration.
Here they are playing "Ticket to Ride" in the cool yard on a 90 degree breezy day.
And out comes a birthday cake, and singing of "Happy Birthday".
So to mark her special "Sweet 16" we went out to Mexican the next evening.
This time the singing was in Spanish.
"Cumpleaños Feliz" Johanna! We are so pleased with how you've grown. God bless and love you!
