Pastor Baggie helped translate when our team of coaches came in November. Now he has organized a team of leaders to help him coach 7th and 8th graders from a neighborhood public school.
The kids pay a monthly fee to be able to play and learn. Next we are working on offering private lessons for clinics.
The kids sit for 10 minutes of a two-hour practice to hear a message on character including the truth of Christ. We are making more than basketball players. We are training to make youth grow into responsible respectful adults, and also present the claims of Christ and make disciples.
